It takes a Million steps, hunger, devastation and downfalls for us to realize the essence of appreciating the beauty of nature, regardless of how far it is to reach the highest part of the Archipelago, what matters is that, what does it brings to everyone. I am absolutely proud not just because I reached this newly recognized Ancestral Domain in the Phils., but because of the fact that I was one of the hundreds of mountaineers who acknowledged the presence of Tribes in this area as a community who also brought simple activities, funds and feeding of children. We were so privileged to get accommodated by this Family last March 25-26, 2016, that was Holy Friday and Black Saturday, in line with our trip to Bani Falls in Soccsksargen Region, together with my first cousins and their friends. This is a gratitude to be considered in exchange of our physical stress as we have been walking along the road from Marahan, Marilog District, Davao City. From there, we walked under the heat of the sun of approximately 20 Kms, this is equivalent to 2 hours to get there at the Camp Site. The Camp Site location is in Sitio Inamong, (Matigol), Arakan Valley, North Cotabato. The area has electricity but is limited to one chargeable led light bulb in every house and one female plug outlet.
