ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

I can still remember, one of the lessons discussed from our Marketing subject during our college was the product life cycle. As a summary, it talks about the journey of a certain product from the time it has been produced, its availability in the market until the realization of how the product is performing, and right there, the maturity of the product becomes an issue, where sellers need to evaluate if the product is growing or declining, and what needs to be done. I am writing this blog article to give my personal observation on the relationship between the product life cycle and a person's attitude to work. Disclaimer: These are just my personal reflections. The first stage in the cycle is the INTRODUCTION. -- Like a physical product, a person who is new to his role and the job that he is about to do has a very exciting mindset, he is fresh and has the ability to work efficiently and effectively, he works beyond what normally does on a daily basis. In other words, this per

The 28th year of existence

It was on March 15, 2020, we were at Samal Island, in Kaputian Beach Park. It was actually the day when everyone was thinking of a wonderful celebration, a blast and party. Until the afternoon came, a historic announcement made by the Local Government... It was my birthday, prior to that date, we were already planning on celebrating my day in Kaputian Beach Park, Samal Island, Dav Nor. Everyone was excited, so do I. I was very excited because I've never been to beach for few months then, other than that, I was excited with the idea that everyone's going to play Beach Volleyball. My college friends and I were already at the place on March 14, we had our time there overnight, we chatted and enjoyed our moments together as we didn't see each other for how many months due to busyness and each of us has already been doing something for a living. We had liquor and games a bit, we had food and walking along the shore lines in a white sand beach under the heat of sun. O

Indeed, there's no such thing in this world that can ever replace the happiness inside brought to us from these people... Here's another legacy to share with you all. I've always wanted to have at least a time of giving, to reach out some isolated places and  the people far away in the City, because aside from loving the nature and the adventure of Mountain Climbing, I would really like to be part of the people's happiness even just in a simplest way I could, a peso can make a difference. I had a great experience on riding a single motorcycle, a motorcycle for rough roads and off roads, driven by one of the riders from SDA (Seventh-Day Adventist Church) Riders' Ministry, whose role is not limited to find Isolated Areas and logistics for missionaries and gift giving activities. It was my first time riding that type of vehicle, but prior to that, we rode an L300 with goods packed ready for distribution. The reason why we had this event was becaus

Excited About Getting Married

Point of view. Creating ideas! Marrying a woman or a man is another broad entity of your life. It's another difficult and untold story. You'll be constructing new directions and establish a very long lasting relationship that will take you to the road of either loneliness and happiness. That whether you like it or don't, it will be very hard for you to go back and quit. You'll rather choose to live with it with regrets and bitterness. Remember that the love that you feel for your partner in the present time before marriage, will not be the same with the love that you'll feel after you marry. Everything changes, people do, feelings do. If you think he/she has already told and showed you everything about him/her, well think again for many times until you get 27 years old from 20. Being in a relationship to someone doesn't measure the love with how long or short you've been together. It's the way how look forward, it's

Sicao Village: A 2-day Mountain Climbing Adventure

It takes a Million steps, hunger, devastation and downfalls for us to realize the essence of appreciating the beauty of nature, regardless of how far it is to reach the highest part of the Archipelago, what matters is that, what does it brings to everyone. I am absolutely proud not just because I reached this newly recognized Ancestral Domain in the Phils., but because of the fact that I was one of the hundreds of mountaineers who acknowledged the presence of Tribes in this area as a community who also brought simple activities, funds and feeding of children. I honestly know my abilities to climb mountains and cross over rivers and forests, and when I was being invited by my cousins to join the mountain climbing activity, I was feeling so excited, and honestly? I was actually sick a night before the event, but my urgency pushed me to beyond my limits, the fever never hindered me to still join with them, as I thought that I can only take a medicine to let my body back t

The Branded People on Starbucks - Be Generous!

So, I and my friends went to this coffee shop where everyone knows how does it gives spectacular perceptions. Honestly, it was my first time of having my coffee experience in the coffee shop,  I got a piece of money to buy and treated my friends for that particular day. HILAS ko ato na time. lols We first tried to visit one of their branches located in SM Lanang Premiere, Davao City. We looked for a vacant seat but unfortunately, there was no available. I noticed that most of the seats were occupied by just single people, I was confused if it was really the idea that even if you're alone, you can use the bigger space of seat. I just thought so... I also noticed that most of the customers were young adults, using their phones and laptops, waiting for nothing (I think so), relaxing, so to speak. But I did not really care about them, it was just so sad that were not able to get a seat to start our coffee talk with my co-workers. I was actually planning to have an experience ov

Proud of Being Poor?

"I am proud of being poor!" - we always hear this statement, implying that one is not ashamed of being poor. This statement contains a strong message that may determine the value of being a proud individual who experiences poverty and the lack of material things that are supposedly available and visible inside a house - it delivers the message to never be ashamed of who you are and what you only have, instead be proud because you are alive and enjoying the gift of life. Powerful! But, let me give my views on this. If we are to reconsider our previous life, back when the time that everything seemed to be perfect for our wants and needs, back when the days we were thinking about those things that we had were enough for our physiological needs, we were contented.  Furthermore, as time goes, as our age is numbered, the level of our needs and wants increase. We may still be earning the same amount of sources and income but we will look for something that is new, s
