Your True Identiy in Christ Jesus
John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
A. You are loved by God the Father.
Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
John 17:23 "I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
Ephesians 3: 17-19 " so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
B. You were purchased at an expensive price.
1 Corinthians 6:20 " you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
Revelations 5:9 "And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
C. We are justified and declared innocent.
Galatians 2:16 "know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified."
Justified - Greek word = "Dikaioo" - to render (that is, show or regard) just or innocent: free, justify, be righteous.
D. We are entitled to a clean conscience.
Hebrews 9:14 "How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!"
E. Your sins are no longer a part of you.
John 1:29 "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!"
Matthew 26:28 "This is my blood of thecovenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Hebrews 10:17 "Then he adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
F. We have Peace with God.
Romans 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..."
G. We are clothed with the righteousness of Jesus.
Romans 3:22 "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile..."
Romans 3:25 "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— "
Romans 5:17 "For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!"
H. You are made new in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Ephesians 4:24 "and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."

21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
