I am a Christian. What's the difference between me and you?
I am a Christian, basically we are (all) Christians as we are sons of God. But what's the difference between me and you?
I'll start with the other one...
Him, as a Christian, is someone who has Godly friends - boring people, boring activities like discussing about God, life, reading the Bible, sharing one another's story. Him, as a Christian is now someone who is not a party goer, never a drunkard of alcoholoc drinks, never chases men and women, always so serious about the job he does, never knows how to laugh out with funny jokes around him. He never plays with love stories, he is a worshipper of God, he comes to Church every Sunday or once a week, he joins to a life group, he has boring friends as well, he seldom sings songs from popular artists in the world, he defines GOODNESS as the essence of True Love, he shares God with other, he shares his life before and after he knew of Jesus, he has great stories about Jesus. He is a boring person... a boring person to be with... But he is a faithful, committed, and consistent with what he has started to built the moment Jesus revealed Himself to the this guy. He is always happy to be one of God's servants.
Now, let us see the other Christian...
He is always happy to be with. He chases people around him, he has a lot of money to treat all of his friends on a party and anything. He is happy because he can always buy something that he wants. He is happy even though he never go to church, he never serve God, he never shares God, he never comes together with Godly folks. He thinks these are boring to be with, he thinks he will be condemned, he thinks he will be judged by these folks, he thinks he is does not deserve to be with these people who talks about God. This man is a christian who enjoys life to the fullest by chasing, by parties, by working hard, by buying all the things that he wants and by just knowing Jesus as the savior of all nation - as this just his understanding. He is a christian because he said, he is a son of God, he said Jesus saved us all, he said that Jesus died on the cross, he also acknowledged that we need to praise God and thank God for all the things that He has given. And that ends there... Him being a Christian ends up there...
Now, after knowing their differences, can you classify yourself where do you belong? Can you see yourself being a Christian of the other side?
Remember, as we cleanse and received pur salvation, it does not end there, we should ways look for something to replicate, something that would push the glory back to God in everything that we do, everyday.
I am not writing this to impose my disagreement but of course to discourage these people who never practice enjoying their salvation. To share the good news, to share Jesus and even share to everyone how powerful Jesus that He was able to dwell on us, manifested our lives, always and forever. The only think that we, as Christians, need to take note is to be a Christian by seeking the available time of ourlives to share the Word, to share Jesus - The One who saves.
