INFORMATIONS
Gathering after board work has been a practice where jokes are favourite appetizer. In one of those times, while exchanging punch lines, their playful minds accidentally brought them to singing popular tunes while replacing them with their own hilarious lyrics. Unintentionally, Taligsik Band was formed, a phenomenon that hit Davao by storm.
HISTORY
It started when they derived their original composition, The Tanini Jingle. Tanini Jingle was for Tanini Wonder Products.
Tanini Wonder products (a product of imagination that brings users great disaster) have become an inspiration of the group from where they derived their original composition, the Tanini Jingle. This was followed by Pamati, Iro kong Itom and their spoofs Pusoy si Lolo (Low), Gabriella (Umbrella) and Butikmol Girl (Beautiful Girl).
While exchanging punch lines, their playful minds accidentally brought them to singing popular tunes while replacing them with their own lyrics. Unintentionally and unexpectedly, Taligsik Band was formed.
Way back in 2008 when the group decided to compose and record songs in their own dialect (Bisaya).
Novelty rap, love, and any songs. Handled by their colleague Dj Monica the band went well for about a year before the manager (monica) left for states. As time passes by they've traveled all around Southern Mindanao.
They had their concerts in many places in Davao City or even outside the City and all of their concerts are successful!

Right now, requests for Taligsik Band songs are causing traffic in the hot lines and floods in text line of MOR 101.1 Davao. Because of its huge impact to the masses, invitations for city and provincial shows as well as products endorsements are now also eventually coming.
They are most particular on reviving songs from any bands replacing with their own lyrics, and they usually changed it with their dialect - Vernacular.
And it's been 4 years, and great while, they still have that unity and continue on their goals for music, composing new songs to sing for people and for their listeners as DJs and Performers on the stage, making people laugh, enjoy and be inspired as they look forward of getting and catching more happiness to people.
That three DJs although busy for their careers and job in the field where they are working in, one of the reasons why their Radio Station consecutively became number one is because of those three DJs that people always look forward to hear from their shows on the Radio. A trademark as well that M.O.R. always being wanted from the listeners.
DJs that could not just make us laugh when hearing them on the Radio but a Famous Local Band here in Davao, performing like they can do much better that Gran slam, celebrities, stars, International Bands and bands.
DJs/Performers and ordinary people yet with extraordinary talents.
