Planking - What about??

First and foremost, let me give you the meaning of this word..

"Planking" (or the "Lying Down Game") is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. The hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game.

The term planking refers to mimicking a wooden plank. Rigidity of the body must be maintained to constitute good planking.

But what exactly is meant by the word planking by the people who sees doing this thing.

Planking which has become, for some reason or another, the latest fad among the youths which is an activity they achieve by lying down on any places that one can possibly think of – the harder (or weirder) the place, the higher the planking score (or however they judge it).

-Ahh, Planking is game, a weird game, and whoever made the best position and the very weirdest is announced  as the winner of the weird game...Funny yet, this deed was misinterpreted by some people, specially those who are in the office of the President..hahah

This is it. Another Bill. The Anti-Planking Bill.

The bill by Rep. Winnie Castelo seeks not to prohibit “planking” per se, but when it becomes a form of protest which was demonstrated by a group of militant students called League of Filipino Students (LFS) yesterday, it poses a threat to the lives of the participants and other people as well. The said students staged a “die-in” protest in the form of planking yesterday, September 19, to block vehicles during a transport strike along a main street in Welcome Rotonda, Espana.

And so as a reaction to some protesters (during yesterday’s tigil pasada) who did planking, in an attempt to disrupt traffic flow, in the middle of some streets of the metro, someone in congress was quick enough to present the anti-planking bill.
